Bayonet | Ultraviolet released April 27, 2016 as part of the Chroma 3 Case.

It originally released during the CS:GO era, before Valve's Counter-Strike 2 relaunch in September 2023 — its artwork, wear range, and source carried over unchanged into CS2.

It launched as an Extraordinary-tier finish, with a StatTrak™ edition but no Souvenir version.

This exact finish is also obtained through Chroma 2 Case and Chroma Case.

As a finish, "Ultraviolet" is applied to the Bayonet — a military-style fixed blade, one of the original knife skins available since CS:GO's early days — and carries the red rarity color every Extraordinary-tier skin shares on the Steam Market and in-game.
