In-Depth Guide

Purrurists (Foil): The Complete Guide

Complete Purrurists (Foil) CS2 sticker guide — explore its history, finish, rarity, capsule, and drop chance.

History & Origin

Purrurists (Foil) was released on September 2, 2021 as part of the 2021 Community Sticker Capsule.

It comes from a community sticker set — designs created by Counter-Strike players and added to the game by Valve.

Design & Finish

This version uses the Foil finish: a reflective metallic foil that gives the design a chrome-like sheen. It sits in the Exotic tier, which also decides how often it drops from its capsule.

Stickers have no float value or wear condition, so every copy looks the same when unboxed. Once applied to a weapon, it can be scraped down step by step for a worn look — scraping it all the way removes it for good.

Availability & Versions

It drops from the 2021 Community Sticker Capsule with a 1.0753% chance (about 1 in 93). Official capsule odds: each rarity tier is five times rarer than the one below, and every sticker in a tier is equally likely. The 2021 Community Sticker Capsule holds 21 stickers, 3 of them Exotic.

Purrurists only exists in this Foil version. Higher finishes like Foil are rarer and the usual pick for standout crafts. It can also be traded on the Steam Community Market.
