Lambda: The Complete Guide

Complete Lambda CS2 sticker guide — explore its history, finish, rarity, capsule, and drop chance.

History & Origin

Lambda was released on March 23, 2020 as part of the Half-Life: Alyx Sticker Capsule.

It comes from a collaboration sticker set made together with an outside artist or brand.

Design & Finish

This version uses the Paper finish: a plain matte print — the base version of a design and usually the most common one. It sits in the High Grade tier, which also decides how often it drops from its capsule.

Stickers have no float value or wear condition, so every copy looks the same when unboxed. Once applied to a weapon, it can be scraped down step by step for a worn look — scraping it all the way removes it for good.

Availability & Versions

It drops from the Half-Life: Alyx Sticker Capsule with a 11.5207% chance (about 1 in 9). Official capsule odds: each rarity tier is five times rarer than the one below, and every sticker in a tier is equally likely. The Half-Life: Alyx Sticker Capsule holds 13 stickers, 7 of them High Grade.

Lambda also exists as Holo — each its own item with its own rarity. Paper is the most affordable way to collect a design and often fills every sticker slot of a craft. Every version can also be traded on the Steam Community Market.
