SCAR-20 | Outbreak released December 8, 2015 as part of the Revolver Case.

It originally released during the CS:GO era, before Valve's Counter-Strike 2 relaunch in September 2023 — its artwork, wear range, and source carried over unchanged into CS2.

It launched as a Mil-Spec Grade finish, with both a StatTrak™ and a Souvenir edition.

As a finish, "Outbreak" is applied to the SCAR-20 — the Counter-Terrorists' semi-automatic sniper rifle, the CT-side counterpart to the G3SG1 — and carries the blue rarity color every Mil-Spec Grade skin shares on the Steam Market and in-game.
