M9 Bayonet | Lore released August 18, 2016 as part of the Gamma 2 Case.

It originally released during the CS:GO era, before Valve's Counter-Strike 2 relaunch in September 2023 — its artwork, wear range, and source carried over unchanged into CS2.

It launched as an Extraordinary-tier finish, with a StatTrak™ edition but no Souvenir version.

This exact finish is also obtained through Gamma Case.

As a finish, "Lore" is applied to the M9 Bayonet — a longer variant of the Bayonet with its own distinct blade shape — and carries the red rarity color every Extraordinary-tier skin shares on the Steam Market and in-game.
