FAMAS | Neural Net released May 26, 2015 as part of the Falchion Case.

It originally released during the CS:GO era, before Valve's Counter-Strike 2 relaunch in September 2023 — its artwork, wear range, and source carried over unchanged into CS2.

It launched as a Restricted-tier finish, with both a StatTrak™ and a Souvenir edition.

As a finish, "Neural Net" is applied to the FAMAS — the Terrorists' burst-capable rifle, cheaper than the AK-47 with a fast rate of fire in burst mode — and carries the purple rarity color every Restricted-tier skin shares on the Steam Market and in-game.
