Desert Eagle | Pilot released July 1, 2014 as part of the Baggage Collection.

It originally released during the CS:GO era, before Valve's Counter-Strike 2 relaunch in September 2023 — its artwork, wear range, and source carried over unchanged into CS2.

It launched as a Restricted-tier finish, with a Souvenir edition but no StatTrak™ version.

As a finish, "Pilot" is applied to the Desert Eagle — Counter-Strike's iconic hand cannon, hitting hard per shot but punishing sprayed follow-ups with heavy recoil — and carries the purple rarity color every Restricted-tier skin shares on the Steam Market and in-game.
