History
The History of Glock-18 Skins
The Glock-18 is the Terrorists' standard sidearm, able to switch into a fully-automatic burst mode. There are 59 Glock-18 skins on the site, spanning 5 rarity tiers from Covert down to Industrial.
From Arms Deal to today
Weapon skins were introduced to Counter-Strike with CS:GO's Arms Deal update in August 2013, which brought Cases, the Steam Community Market, and the first tradable weapon finishes to the game. The earliest Glock-18 finish with a confirmed release date tracked on CS2Owl is Glock-18 | Dragon Tattoo from CS:GO Weapon, released on August 14, 2013. Since then, the Glock-18 skin lineup has grown to 59 skins, with 29 available in StatTrak™ versions and all 59 currently available as Souvenir editions.
Simple finishes to complex designs
Early finishes were plain, single-pattern designs. Later Cases introduced layered, custom-illustrated artwork and textured finishes, expanding what a weapon skin could look like well beyond a solid color or simple camo.
When Valve relaunched the game as Counter-Strike 2 on September 27, 2023, every existing Glock-18 finish carried over unchanged onto the new engine, and new finishes have kept releasing through CS2's own Cases and Collections since.
