PARIVISION and G2 have met three times in 2026, and every series has gone to a third map. PARIVISION won two of them, including the most recent one in October with exactly the lineups that meet on Monday. The two teams also arrive in very different situations.

Three Meetings, Three Deciders
PARIVISION won at PGL Cluj-Napoca in February, G2 at PGL Astana in May, and PARIVISION again at ESL Pro League Season 24 on October 6: 13-11 on Inferno, 9-13 on Anubis and 13-7 on Ancient. Only that October series was played by today's ten players. PARIVISION have added FL1T and HObbit since May, and G2 have added r1nkle (with NertZ arriving in the spring), so the earlier results say less about Monday.
G2 Look for Answers After Bucharest
G2 left PGL Masters Bucharest without a series win, losing to Natus Vincere, Aurora and DENDELE. HLTV counted one series win across their last two events, a victory over ShindeN at the Pro League. Coach Eetu "sAw" Saha pointed to the endings of rounds after the Aurora loss: "Right now it's like we're stagnating, or maybe even took a couple of steps backward." There were bright spots. Against DENDELE, AWPer r1nkle posted a 1.30 rating on one map, well clear of his teammates. In September, G2 had reached the final of FISSURE Playground 3.
PARIVISION Arrive Rested
PARIVISION skipped Bucharest. Their last event was 1win Private Club Season 2, where they reached the final before losing 3-0 to The MongolZ on October 22. Before that they finished in the top eight at the Pro League, with wins over NAVI and G2. Jame, both in-game leader and AWPer, now has HObbit next to him, who joined a month ago.
Ancient is PARIVISION's strongest map over the past three months (73% over 11 maps). It was also their closing win in October. G2's best recent maps are Anubis (80%) and Ancient (60% over 15 maps), so Ancient is the map both sides like.
What's at Stake
The winner meets the winner of Aurora vs. Liquid in Group B's upper-bracket semi-finals. The loser goes to the lower bracket, one defeat away from elimination.
