MOUZ vs. TYLOO at IEM Beijing 2026:The Only Chinese Team Opens at Home
TYLOO, the only Chinese team in the field, open against MOUZ — the team they beat on Inferno in Shanghai in May. Jee's availability is still open.

TYLOO are the only Chinese team at IEM Beijing, and their first match is against MOUZ, fourth in the world and first in Valve's ranking. The gap on paper is large. The last time the two met on a Chinese stage, however, TYLOO won.

Shanghai, May 20
At the CS Asia Championships in Shanghai, TYLOO beat MOUZ 13-7 on Inferno. It was a single best-of-one map, and MOUZ went on to finish third at that event. TYLOO fielded the five players registered for Beijing. MOUZ had four of theirs; PR joined three months ago. It's the only meeting between the teams this year, and one map is a small sample. Still, it shows TYLOO have already beaten this MOUZ core on Chinese soil.
The Question Around Jee
TYLOO's AWPer Dongkai "Jee" Ji was ruled out of PGL Masters Bucharest with chickenpox. Head coach WeiJie "zhokiNg" Zhong played in his place, including in the 2-1 win over 9z that lifted TYLOO's Singapore Major chances from 52% to 91% in HLTV's simulation. Afterwards zhokiNg said the absence "didn't really affect our mentality too much". On October 29, at HyperX Retake Season 13, TYLOO were still playing with zhokiNg. Jee is in the lineup TYLOO registered for Beijing, but whether he plays on Monday had not been confirmed at the time of writing.
MOUZ Between Two Events
MOUZ have been among the best teams of the autumn. They reached the ESL Pro League Season 24 final, where Vitality beat them 3-0, and the PGL Masters Bucharest semi-finals, where FURIA won 2-1. Spinx was an EVP at the Pro League (1.22 Rating 3.0). Their Bucharest third-place match is on October 31, so they open in Beijing two days later.
Mirage is MOUZ's best recent map (82% over 17 maps) and also TYLOO's most played (62% over 13). Nuke tilts heavily toward MOUZ: 67% for them, 17% for TYLOO.
What's at Stake
The winner meets the winner of 9z vs. BETBOOM in Group B's upper-bracket semi-finals. The loser drops into the lower bracket, one defeat from elimination. For TYLOO, every win in front of their home crowd is also a step on the VRS road toward Singapore.
