Nova | Dark Sigil

Nova | Dark Sigil released February 6, 2024 as part of the Kilowatt Case.

It's a Counter-Strike 2-native release, launched after Valve's September 2023 relaunch, with no CS:GO history of its own.

It launched as a Mil-Spec Grade finish, with both a StatTrak™ and a Souvenir edition.

As a finish, "Dark Sigil" is applied to the Nova — a pump-action shotgun available to both sides, a step up from the pistols at close range — and carries the blue rarity color every Mil-Spec Grade skin shares on the Steam Market and in-game.

That Mil-Spec Grade classification places it at the base of the tiers a Case can drop — the most common outcome of opening the Case(s) it comes from.

Nova | Dark Sigil ships in all five wear conditions, but its float is capped between 0.00 and 0.70 — narrower than the full 0.00–1.00 range some other skins allow.

As with every CS2 skin, lower float values look cleaner: Factory New copies (roughly below 0.07 float) show the finish at its sharpest, while Field-Tested and Well-Worn pieces make up the most commonly traded middle ground between mint and heavily worn.

Nova | Dark Sigil comes from the Kilowatt Case — it's part of a Case currently cycling through CS2's weekly Prime drop pool, so it's obtainable through free drops as well as opening the Case.

Valve's own published Case odds put a Mil-Spec Grade pull like this one at roughly 1 in 9 (11.4171%).

There's both a StatTrak™ and a Souvenir edition of this finish, alongside the Normal version — three ways to own the same look, differing only in that badge.

Beyond that, there's no separate "phase" or pattern family tied to this finish in the site's data — it's tracked as a single fixed look across every wear condition it ships in.

As a Mil-Spec Grade finish, Nova | Dark Sigil sits among the more common pulls from the Kilowatt Case rather than being a chase item — a straightforward, affordable way to add a Nova skin to a loadout or collection.

Its StatTrak™ and Souvenir editions tend to trade at a premium over the Normal version, the same pattern seen across most CS2 skins with that variant available.

Nova | Dark Sigil has been part of the Kilowatt Case since February 6, 2024 — a Counter-Strike 2-native release with no CS:GO-era version to compare it to.

It's one of 7 Mil-Spec Grade items in the Kilowatt Case, out of 17 items total.

This is one of 47 Nova skins currently listed on the site, spanning multiple rarity tiers.
